Broker Protection Policy

To protect mortgage brokers that are registered with Capital Development, Capital Development has instituted its Broker Protection Policy.

Our policy is very simple:

If a broker initially introduces Capital Development to a borrower, and that borrower closes a commercial real estate loan with Capital Development within 180 days after the introduction, then that broker will be paid a commission, not only on that initial loan, but on any permanent financing provided to that borrower by Capital Development thereafter*.

The brokerage community is our foundation and therefore Capital Development believes that they deserve this continuing protection.

*The only exception to this policy is in the rare situation where a borrower, due to circumstances, may retain a new broker to represent the borrower on loan transactions with Capital Development, subsequent to the initial loan transaction.  In this case, only the new broker would be entitled to commissions on these subsequent transactions.
